My company (semi-ex-company, anyway) makes some of its own equipment.

Part of my job has been, and still is, to update their price list online.

I continue to be amused by the fact that there is a series of part number that start with "SM101". And the item description for one of them is simply, "Collar".

I wonder if this is intentional, and if so, who came up with that.
