After doing three different virus scans, I've concluded that my computer *probably* doesn't have a virus that's interfering with the anti-virus software.

However, the anti-virus is still having the same issues.

And what started as a tiny sore throat at 2:00 this afternoon very quickly escalated into a "kill me now and get it over!" by 7:00. Ibu is helping. Hopefully this means that it's an ear infection, which isn't contagious and doesn't involve runny nose, coughing, and other cold symptoms?
