I'm definitely shy in new situations/with new people, but I very much enjoy being social. However:

Friday night with John's parents, Saturday night with C's "family", and last night/today with M & family. Add to that a lot of cooking and cleaning over these last few days, plus inadequate sleep for the last several nights...

It's been tons of fun, to be sure. But I'm fried. Battery needs a few hours/an evening of recharging.
